Originally from Los Angeles, Harrison received a Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara (2019) and a Master’s degree from UC Davis (2020). Her undergraduate research focused on climate justice and the intersections of environmental injustice and incarceration. In her free time, she organizes with Food Not Bombs, as well as with groups focused on anti-racism and animal liberation. She is excited to continue to promote environmental justice through her time with the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, where she will be working to make electric cars more accessible to low income communities and communities of color.
