Hannah Schanzer is a recent graduate of Washington University in St. Louis (originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina) where she majored in Environmental Policy with a concentration in environmental justice. At Wash U, Hannah served as the Student Union’s Environmental Council Chair and Office of Sustainability’s Environmental Justice Associate. She comes to CivicSpark having worked on food justice issues at Missouri Coalition of the Environment, regional sustainability at the St. Louis Mayor’s office, renewable energy education at Solar One, and building efficiency policy at the National Resources Defense Council. Hannah is very excited to work with local governments and community based organizations to help bring clean energy to California’s most vulnerable communities.
