Kriselda Bautista joins the Local Government Commission as the Associate Regional Coordinator for the Central Inland region supporting CivicSpark fellows as they implement climate change solutions in the Sacramento, Sierra Nevada and San Joaquin Valley areas. With degrees in Urban Studies and Criminology Law and Society from UC Irvine, she continues to work with local governments in planning consciously for the future. A former CivicSpark member herself, she is excited to work in this new capacity and strengthen the urban-rural connection.
A transplant from southern California and wanderer of the world, she has cultivated a deep passion for people, places and ideas that strengthen communities everywhere. Current resident of Reno-Tahoe, she enjoys adventuring outside in nature and sharing these experiences in solitude, with new and old friends alike, and with her cat, Peanut.
