Francisco Mackin-Plankey, known by his friends as Pancho, graduated from Vanderbilt University in May of 2020 with a B.A. in History and Religious Studies. Since graduating from Vanderbilt, Pancho has been an intern with Texas A&M’s Texas Target Communities, a service-learning program in the Texas A&M College of Architecture that provides planning assistance to communities in Texas who demonstrate need. Pancho is excited to be a CivicSpark Fellow with the Town of Truckee. In particular, Pancho is looking forward to exploring how local governments implement sustainability initiatives and address inequity in the planning process.
