Bryan Iwamoto

Staff Bio

Bryan Iwamoto is a Project Coordinator with The Energy Coalition located in their Irvine office, where he supports the project delivery team with drafting proposal documents and agency reports, incentive application tracking and CRM updates for internal reporting for the Southern California Regional Energy Network.
As a 2018-2019 CivicSpark Climate Fellow with the County and City of San Luis Obispo, Bryan worked on a variety of energy efficiency and climate projects. These projects included completing an energy use benchmark report for the county’s Community Services Districts, supporting and developing a zero net energy neighborhood study with the County’s Energy Section, working alongside the County’s Long-Range Planning Division on a multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan update, and helping the City to incorporate GHG emissions calculations into their financial planning process.
Bryan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a degree in City and Regional Planning and a Minor in Sustainable Environments.
When he is not in the office, Bryan can be found learning new things by listening to podcasts, staying fit by walking and exercising, or cooking healthy meals.
