Ashoka Alvarez is the CivicSpark Regional Coordinator for the San Francisco Bay Area Region. She was born and raised in San Francisco, and graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Environmental Studies in 2017. She was a CivicSpark Fellow with the 2017-18 cohort, serving in Richmond at the California Department of Public Health and working with in the Office of Health Equity.
