Angela Kim

Angela Kim was a CivicSpark Climate Fellow at the Ventura County Planning Division during the 2017-2018 service year and worked on the VC Resilient Coastal Adaptation Project, helping the County plan for sea level rise hazards. Besides the invaluable experience in local government, the CivicSpark fellowship helped Angela find a passion for exploring and supporting intersectional identities in the climate movement. Angela studied Biochemistry (BS) and Political Science (BA) at UCLA and Climate Change Impact Assessment (MEnvSc) at the University of Toronto. In her free time, Angela is an avid reader and develops content for her climate change data YouTube channel (Climate Access Cooperative). In January, Angela will start an internship with the United Nations Environment Programme in Nairobi, Kenya.
