Born in California but raised in Oregon, I was fortunate to spend my childhood enjoying both the built and open spaces up and down the West Coast. In visiting family and friends, I became aware of the ways in which the built environment impacts our lives and livelihoods, an understanding deepened during my time studying at the University of Oregon completing a degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management. Now as a graduate I am excited to join CivicSpark and the City of Chico in working to create built environments which afford opportunities for all, particularly in the face of a changing climate. Outside of work I enjoy riding my bike, sliding on snow, camping, cooking, and reading.
