I’ve been a competitive swimmer ever since I was 8 years old, and that love of swimming brought me to Emory University on their Varsity Swim Team. I swam all 4 years with them, while working hard towards a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. During my time, I also worked in a pollinator laboratory, wrote for the school newspaper, did a lot of cooking, and maintained strong friendships with by best friends back in California through a shared love of video games. What I’m most excited to do here is jumpstart my career in environmentalism while honing the commuications, writing, and environmental skills I’ll need for a future career in environmental law. In addition, I hope to meet some great people who I can form lifelong bonds with while making a difference in the community.
