I am a San Jose native and a recent graduate from Cornell University with a degree in Environmental Engineering with a focus on water quality and treatment. After college, I returned home and started my first AmeriCorps term serving Our City Forest, an urban forestry non-profit based in San Jose. I’m excited to continue serving my community by assisting my local water district, Valley Water, in their mission of providing safe, clean water to residents and maintaining local water resources. I am looking forward to gaining a better understanding of how local agencies operate and work to address environmental issues impacting our community.
