Shannon is from Kent, Ohio and graduated magna cum laude from Miami University with a BA in Environmental Earth Science and Sustainability in 2019. Eager to join the City of San Luis Obispo for a second service term, Shannon is looking forward to building upon past successes planning and implementing priority carbon neutrality measures. The adoption of the Climate Action Plan for Community Recovery in August 2020 marked a major milestone in her service, and Shannon looks forward to bringing the projects and programs within the plan to life in 2020-21. This year, she intends to continually explore the intersections of climate change, policy and planning, and equity through various projects.
