Project(s): Keep Truckee Green Email: eronald@civicspark.lgc.org Fellow Bio:

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Erin graduated from Santa Clara University with degrees in Environmental Studies and Sociology. She is passionate about climate mitigation, particularly how sustainable development can aid communities in reducing both social inequality, and environmental impact. While in college, she interned with the Center for Sustainability to help the university reach carbon neutrality, co-founded Extra Eats, an app to combat campus food waste, and was a Global Social Benefit Fellow where she conducted research with two social enterprises in Ghana. Erin is keen to develop a greater understanding of local government’s role in catalyzing the transition to low-carbon communities, and hopes to use this knowledge to further drive micro and macro mitigation efforts globally.
