Casandra was born and raised in Fremont, CA. She graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2018 with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and later moved to Los Angeles. Casandra worked with a waste hauler as a Recycling Coordinator until choosing to serve in the City of Culver City on the Ballona Creek Revitalization Project. She is excited to learn more about local governments intervention with climate change!
