Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Rebecca attended Indiana University to study Environmental and Sustainability Studies. She saw a great opportunity in CivicSpark to make an impact on environmental issues while working closely with local communities and the people who feel the most direct impacts of these issues. Rebecca has always had a passion for public service and believes that when it comes to environmental issues, involving the community in the solution is an important part of ensuring a positive outcome. Rebecca looks forward to gaining more skills working in policy and community engagement during the service term.
