Carson Barwinkel will be serving as a Fellow with the County of Ventura’s Planning Department. Carson is originally from Texas, and last worked for the City of Austin’s Housing Department where he helped manage an affordable housing data hub that connected low-income renters to properties that met their needs. The County of Ventura faces unique challenges and offers the opportunity to consider housing within the context of agricultural and environmental constraints. Carson looks forward to helping the community develop a housing plan that is equitable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible.
