While growing up in Michigan, Danny’s passion for conservation and the environment started early. Danny is a graduate of Hope College with a degree in Biology, where his passion led him to various research positions across the globe, from the Arctic to the South Pacific. These research and service opportunities provided Danny with firsthand visuals of what the changing environment threatens, and he has developed a drive to combat the daunting issues that threaten the livelihood of so many populations. He is excited to join CivicSpark to enhance his abilities to engage local communities and implement environmental initiatives. He is eager for the opportunity to learn more about local government, and to make a difference in the local communities facing environmental changes.
