Region: Inland Empire
Project(s): Disadvantaged Community Involvement Program
Since graduating from Cornell University’s environmental engineering program in 2015, I have worked in the civil engineering field in my home state of Virginia as well as the political and leadership development world of D.C. I am joining CivicSpark because I am interested in exploring the intersection of technical analysis and local governance in the context of natural resources planning. I believe my time with CivicSpark will provide a level of exposure to the social and political, technical and infrastructural complexities of regional water resource management that would be otherwise inscrutable from an abstract distance. I anticipate that such deep exposure and immersion will spark my curiosity and inform the direction of my post-fellowship career.
