Originally from southern California, Phillip graduated from the University of California, Davis with a background in Environmental Policy Analysis & Planning and Economics. His passion for sustainability revolves around renewable energy, transportation, and smart growth issues. He has worked in environmental education to empower the next generation of environmental leaders in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He also worked in the solar industry, educating homeowners of the benefits of renewable energy. He would like to help implement climate action plans for local communities. He hopes to gain a keen understanding of local government and how he can further empower communities to combat climate change.
