Fellow Bio:
Laurel, a Sacramento area native, graduated in 2016 from Sonoma State University with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Planning. She was previously involved with internships at a non-profit community garden and worked with a planning firm to provide stakeholder outreach for the City of Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway Project. She is passionate about improving the urban environment and bringing access to heathy sustainable communities to all through city planning, design and policy. Her future career path includes continuing her education and working with local agencies to address planning and sustainability challenges.
