Alyssa is thrilled to be working as a Water Action Fellow with the Marin Municipal Water District in Corte Madera. She grew up in Brookfield, Illinois and received her B.A. from Valparaiso University, Indiana, where she double majored in Communication Public Relations and Humanities and double minored in Business Administration and Environmental Studies. Alyssa’s passion for the environment was kindled by volunteering with the Brookfield Zoo throughout high school and interning with the Field MuseumÍs Environment, Culture, and Conservation department and the Alliance for Water Efficiency in Chicago. Through CivicSpark she is excited to improve her knowledge in water sustainability issues while contributing to the local community.
