After completing her service year in Truckee at the Sierra Business Council, Jill stayed in Tahoe to become a journalist and content marketing contributor for the outdoor industry. Her roots are in the Sierra Nevadas and it’s her dream career to inspire others to care about conservation and climate change through outdoor adventure. She believes in the outdoors as a great equalizer and writes primarily about travel and adventure, women in the outdoors, and public land policy for national publications including Outside magazine.
