Micaela McMurdo grew up in San Diego and graduated from UCLA in 2017 with a degree in Geography/Environmental Studies. Having grown up in a rural area, she understands the challenges surrounding water usage and efficiency, and taking hydrology courses in college helped solidify her interest in this field. Since graduating from UCLA, she has worked on grant writing and water quality testing for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles. She looks forward to working with an awesome team and tackling water issues on a larger scale in the coming year.
