Jacob Weiss grew up in Davis, California and graduated in 2016 from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon where he studied the intersection of food and agriculture, politics, and the economy. He is joining CivicSpark to make an impact in the climate field and to meet other like-minded Fellows. He hopes that his experience at CivicSpark will catalyze a successful career in food and climate policy. In the evenings and on weekends he loves to play or referee soccer, rock climb, read fiction, or catch up with friends.
