Nicki Powell is from Fairfax, Virginia and recently graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Environmental Science and B.A. in Biostatistics. She is passionate about water conservation and coastal resilience, and is excited to move to the west coast to work with local authorities on improving water efficiency. Nicki seeks to make sustainable action a part of everyday life and hopes that through this fellowship she will help create a strong foundation for sustainable businesses in Long Beach and beyond.
