Fellow Bio:

Cassandra Miller, a native of Las Vegas, New Mexico, graduated from Grinnell College in May 2016 with a B.A. in Biology and a concentration in Environmental Studies. Prior to joining CivicSpark, she completed an 11-month fellowship at Gobabeb Training & Research Centre, Namibia, Africa, where she worked as the Training and Outreach Coordinator. Her fellowship allowed her to combine her passions for science education and dryland research. Growing up in New Mexico, Cassandra has always been aware of the value and importance of water and water conservation. She is excited for the opportunity to work with the Water Forum and learn new, transferable skills. She looks forward to the opportunity to utilize her ecological research background to create practical water policy solutions that satisfy the diverse stakeholders of the Sacramento River.
