Born and raised in the SF Bay Area, Angela graduated from UC Berkeley with degrees in Environmental Science and Japanese Language. She spent two years working in Japan to experience the culture and to gain a more global perspective on various sustainable practices. After getting more experience in environmental policy and planning through the CivicSpark program, Angela hopes to pursue a career in urban planning to help create more equitable, sustainable, and resilient cities.
