Paul recently relocated back home to Southern California from Portland, OR, where he had been living and working for an energy consulting firm for a little more than a year. Paul graduated from UC Irvine in 2015 with two degrees: Urban Studies and International Studies and is currently in the process of applying for graduate programs in urban design and planning. He joined CivicSpark to use his skills and knowledge-base to help establish more sustainable communities around the Santa Ana Watershed. Paul hopes to create a strong foundation during the first year of what will be a three-year program to address the challenges being faced by low-resource communities in California’s Inland Empire and Orange County. From a professional standpoint, he hopes to create strong friendships and networks with individuals with a future in sustainability, climate mitigation, and public policy.
